A sign that your tyres need changing is deterioration in performance. Your car may not handle or grip the road as well in poor weather conditions as it normally does, or it takes longer to stop when you apply the brakes. We recommend a weekly walk around the car to check the tread, look for bulges or wear and to check tyre pressures every time you fill the tank.
It is the drivers responsibility to ensure that the tread on your tyres is not worn beyond the legal minimum limit of 1.6 millimetres. To make this easier to identify, tyre manufacturers mould tread wear indicators (T.W.I) into the design of the tyres tread pattern.
At Milton Auto Services, we have invested heavily in the latest fitting and balancing tyre equipment, which allows us to fit and balances tyres up to 24 inches in diameter.
We can supply and fit tyres from all the leading manufacturers:
- Bridge stone
We also supply and fit many more, including mid range, budget and commercial tyres.
We can also supply and fit winter tyres from any manufacturer.
